The Finnish-American Folk Festival presents:

Naselle, Washington

The Finnish American Folk Festival of Naselle is enthusiastic about our very own . . .

Bobby Saari and Bobby’s Girls

Robert “Bobby” Saari and his daughters have performed on several occasions in the community this winter, each time a moving experience. Bobby Saari is well known for his work in the logging, logging competitions, and demonstrations. He has traveled across the country to many logging shows, specializing in high climbing. He has also engaged in special tree-related rescues, including that of a hang glider aeronaut who landed in a tree off a cliff several years ago.

After suffering a serious accident last January, Bobby has recovered enough to return to logging demonstrations . . . but limits himself to only one. Ask him which.

This is all definitely not to suggest that “as a singer he’s a great . . . logger”! He has lent his voice to numerous events and groups, as well as his acting and dancing talents.

His daughters Megan, Emily, and Hannah are home-schooled. Their mother Becky says, “They always sing around the house.” They also sing in their church and with our festival’s children’s choir. This is the first time they step out into the spotlight, as it were. Please, make them welcome!
