upcoming . . .
Tervetuloa!from the folks at FAFFWinter is over . . . if only in name. (We had snow last weekend!) But we expect fair weather for our great festival! Late July provides consistently the nicest weather in Southwest Washington. This year's festival has a title, and so you know what to expect when you visit us: lots of Finns and Finnish-Americans! In early May we will put up more information on this site, including information about the upcoming Finn-Am Jams! (See the menu at right and click the Finn-Am Jams button: we have new information as well as old stuff there.) Until then, why not hone your golf swing (yes, we're having a golf tournament, information to come), limber up for our 5k Paavo Nurmi Run, stitch up the loose ends of your Finnish-themed quilt (yes, we have a contest!), and prepare yourself for fun! We have lots of lectures prepared, and music, pictures, genealogy, food. (Oh, there's this real neat kantele band coming from Finland this time. More later. You really will have to come back to this site. Why not bookmark this page?) But, remember: Our festival won't be "knee deep in Finns" if you don't attend! So plan your vacation today. Kiitos . . .
